Sakshi Kohli Mehta has joined WPP Media as Senior Business Director Experiential Marketing after working across leading media and brand-experience organisations. In her new role at WPP Media, she takes on responsibilities in experiential marketing, building on her extensive background in activation-led brand work.

Before joining WPP Media, Mehta served as Deputy General Manager at Hindustan Times from September 2024 to November 2025. At Hindustan Times, she worked on integrated marketing strategies, branded content, IP development and monetisation across print, digital, radio and on-ground formats, alongside developing category-first marketer playbooks and launching thematic IPs such as Nai Dishayein, HT Education Supplements and Retail Icons.
Prior to Hindustan Times, Mehta spent six years and one month at dentsu X, where she held the roles of Senior Business Director from August 2022 to August 2024 and Business Director from August 2018 to August 2022. During this period, she led esports initiatives, experiential campaigns, branded content, sponsorships and cross-platform activations for sectors including automotive, tech and lifestyle, while managing high-impact projects such as Toyota Gazoo Racing, Coolwinks x IPL and Lakmé Fashion Week.
Mehta also worked at Wavemaker as Group Head from January 2018 to July 2018, and before that she spent three years and six months at MEC in two roles — Group Head from July 2016 to December 2017 and Manager Access from July 2014 to June 2016. Her work included media investment advisory, 360-degree campaigns, branded event integrations and content-led IP creation for FMCG, auto and tech clients, as well as projects such as Citibank Digital Diwali, Times Now Amazing Indians and youth-focused campus properties.
Earlier, Mehta worked at Diamond Publications as Manager Activation and Events from March 2013 to July 2014, managing Grah Laxmi Kitty Party and other large-scale consumer events, and prior to that she served as Senior Manager Events at Sports & Leisure Worldwide from August 2011 to August 2012, overseeing events such as Panasonic Open India and Haryana Golf Festival.
She also held the role of Manager Brand Development at Adsert Web Solutions January 2010 to May 2011, where she worked on MQ Media Quiz and Realty Plus Conclave and Excellence Awards. Before that, she was Lead Co-ordinator Database Integrity at Banyan Netfaqs from October 2009 to December 2009. Mehta began her career as Assistant Manager Operations from May 2007 to September 2009, working on properties such as the Agency and Media Cricket League.
