S. Subramanyeswar, widely known as Subbu, has been reported to be taking on the role of Chief Strategy Officer at Omnicom Advertising India. This development has been confirmed to Marketing Mind by someone aware of the matter.
He has served as Chief Strategy Officer for the Asia–Pacific region at MullenLowe Global while leading the MullenLowe Lintas Group in India. Subramanyeswar has held senior leadership roles at Wipro, Publicis, Rediffusion Y&R, and Saatchi & Saatchi across India, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
The appointment comes as Omnicom continues to implement its global leadership restructure following its merger with IPG. The integration has seen the consolidation of several legacy ad brands under Omnicom’s leadership and a focus on streamlining strategy and operations across markets.
