Lifebuoy’s popular advertisement featuring a boy scout in its 2013 TVC has now become a source of several memes on Twitter amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. Lifebuoy’s sanitizers are a must during this pandemic, which leads many meme enthusiasts to create unique content to bring a smile to everyone amidst the panic.
This ad was originally created by Lowe Lintas was used to target the fact that the sanitizer requires less time to wash hands in comparison to the ordinary soap bars. The protagonist Bunty uses his soap to wash his hands for at least a minute when a girl pops in asking him “Bunty tera sabun slow hai kya?”
According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), you need to wash your hands for at least a proper duration of singing ‘Happy Birthday’ twice. Such is the scare of the coronavirus. Now, Lifebuoy’s 2013 TVC is resurfacing by Twiterrati who are using a humourous angle to spread the awareness.
