Every now and then, we see local businesses coming up with unique and attractive schemes to fetch more customers. While some schemes are not able to leave the desired impact, there are some that create the expected buzz leaving everyone amazed.

In recent news, an eatery in Pune, Shivraj Hotel, is offering a Royal Enfield Bullet to its customers if they are able to finish a thali in 60 minutes that weighs 4kgs.

The non-vegetarian thali has 12 different types of dishes such as- Pomfret fried fish, dry mutton, grey mutton, kolumbi biryani, fried fish, etc. As per the restaurant team, It takes 55 people to make this 4 kgs worth thali and costs Rs 2500 per thali.

In hopes to attract more and more customers, Atul Waikar came up with this unique ‘Win a Bullet Bike‘ contest.

Atul Waikar told India Today Television that the response towards the contest has been great as people have been visiting his restaurant to try the thali and also participate in the contest. Social distancing norms are being followed as well, Waikar assured. Shivraj Hotel sells around 65 thalis daily.

Shivraj Hotel serves six types of giant thalis – Special Ravan Thali, Bullet Thali, Malvani Fish Thali, Pahelwan Mutton Thali, Bakasur Chicken Thali, and Sarkar Mutton Thali.

Atul Waikar said that Somnath Pawar, a resident of the Solapur district of Maharashtra, managed to finish the Bullet Thali in less than 60 minutes and hence was presented with a Bullet as promised.

In order to market this contest effectively, Atul Waikar placed five brand new Royal Enfield Bullets in the verandah of his restaurant. Also, banners and the menu cards of the eatery with illustrated instructions for the Bullet Thali contest were printed and put out everywhere.
