Prashant Iyer, has moved on from Netflix after a tenure of more than seven years. At Netflix, Iyer most recently served as Director, Films & Series Marketing since November 2024.
He shared the news of his exit via a LinkedIn post.
Before this, Iyer was Director, Social Marketing – India from September 2022 to November 2024, where he led the social marketing team and was part of the platform’s marketing leadership, driving campaigns across films, series, and brand initiatives.
Earlier, he held roles as Editorial & Publishing Lead – India from May 2021 to September 2022 and Brand & Editorial Manager – India from June 2018 to May 2021, overseeing Netflix India’s social media strategy and market communications across YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
Prior to joining Netflix, Iyer worked with Nike India for more than three years, handling digital brand commerce and marketing. He also spent over two years with Titan Company, where he managed digital strategy and e-commerce marketing for brand campaigns.
Iyer began his career in 2012 at Titan and has since built extensive expertise in marketing, content strategy, and digital engagement across global and Indian consumer brands.
