PepsiCo has elevated Shailja Joshi to the role of Senior Director – Marketing, Global Canisters and Imports.
Joshi has shared the news through a post on LinkedIn, expressing her excitement about the new role and gratitude toward her mentors and colleagues. “I’m excited to share that I’ve taken on a new challenge at PepsiCo as Senior Director – Marketing, Global Canisters and Imports! A huge thank you to Roberto Martínez and Gaurav Goel for their trust and confidence in me as I step into this global role,” she wrote, also acknowledging the India leadership team and mentors who shaped her journey.
Prior to this elevation, Joshi has been associated with PepsiCo for over six years. She most recently served as Director – Marketing, CSDs (Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda) and Innovation from May 2023 to October 2025. Before that, she held the position of Director – Marketing, Potato Chips Category, India from September 2021 to May 2023. She joined PepsiCo in September 2019 as Marketing Manager – Potato Chips Category, marking the start of her journey with the company.
Before joining PepsiCo, Joshi spent over seven years at Britannia Industries across various marketing roles. She served as Marketing Manager from May 2019 to September 2019, and earlier as Group Product Manager from December 2014 to May 2019. She began her stint at Britannia as Senior Product Manager from September 2012 to December 2014, managing multiple biscuit portfolios.
Joshi started her career at Dabur India, where she spent over five years in sales and marketing roles. She served as Senior Product Manager – Brand Real from May 2010 to September 2012. Before that, she was Area Sales Manager, Foods (Delhi) from June 2007 to May 2010, where she successfully managed the food services channel, achieving substantial sales growth and strategic account recovery.
Through her rich experience across FMCG giants like Dabur, Britannia, and PepsiCo, Joshi has built expertise in brand management, innovation, and consumer insights, now taking that depth of experience to a global stage within PepsiCo’s marketing leadership.
