Many people hailed this move by Amazon while some were asking what O2O is. Well, O2O is an online-to-offline business model where a seller uses online means to drive sales of his or her brick-mortar store.
Here are some interesting reactions of people on Twitter:
Bang on! Look forward to serving you too, of course your nearby store soon 🙂

This was opportunity available earlier. No body tried to do it because it involved lot of hard work now also local players should do it rather than Amazon.

Experts suggest this move by Amazon comes in wake of the Jio-Facebook deal, which is planning to allow millions of neighborhood stores in the country to sell online locally.
But anyway it seems like, going local is a new global business plan.
