Omnicom Group has finalised its $13.5 billion acquisition of Interpublic Group (IPG) and has announced a global leadership team that will steer the combined entity. The restructured organisation has been organised into seven core divisions under the continued leadership of CEO John Wren.
The group has appointed a mix of long-time Omnicom leaders and former IPG executives. Philippe Krakowsky and Daryl Simm have been named co-presidents and co-chief operating officers. The structure has reflected the integration of IPG entities across media, creative, health, PR, commerce and branding.
Florian Adamski has continued as CEO of Omnicom Media, now overseeing former IPG media agencies Initiative and UM along with networks including OMD, PHD, Hearts & Science, Mediahub and Acxiom. Troy Ruhanen has remained CEO of Omnicom Advertising, which has included TBWA, BBDO and McCann as global networks. Under the reorganisation, FCB has been placed under BBDO while DDB and MullenLowe have been moved under TBWA.
Chris Foster has continued as CEO of Omnicom Public Relations, now including IPG agencies Golin and Weber Shandwick. Duncan Painter has been appointed CEO of the Flywheel Commerce Network and OmniPlus, with the tech platform slated for a CES 2026 launch. Sergio Lopez has continued to lead Omnicom Production, which has merged with IPG’s Craft.
Michael Larson has taken on the role of CEO, Diversified Agency Services, overseeing specialist verticals in health, branding and precision marketing. Former IPG Health CEO Dana Maiman has been named CEO of Omnicom Health. Mark O’Brien has continued as CEO of Omnicom Branding, which houses design and consulting units including Interbrand and Siegel+Gale.
Luke Taylor has remained CEO of Omnicom Precision Marketing, overseeing networks such as RAPP and Critical Mass. Jacki Kelley, previously IPG’s chief client and business officer, has taken on the same role at Omnicom and has been tasked with driving client strategy. Andrea Lennon has been appointed client experience officer and has been co-leading the client success team with Kelley.
From February, OMD Worldwide CEO George Manas has been set to serve as chief growth and solutions officer, leading the Omnicom Global Growth team.
