OLX India has appointed Apoorv Pandey as its Chief Marketing Officer. In his new role, Pandey will be leading the company’s overall marketing strategy, brand communication, and user growth initiatives while driving innovation and engagement across OLX India’s consumer ecosystem.
He has shared the update on his LinkedIn profile, marking his return to the organisation where he has previously held multiple leadership roles in brand, growth, and customer lifecycle management.
Prior to this, Pandey served as Senior Vice President- Strategy at Zepto from September 2024 to November 2025. Before that, he was Senior Director – Growth at Moloco from March 2023 to September 2024, overseeing performance-driven marketing and user acquisition efforts.
Earlier, at Zomato, he held the role of AVP – User Growth and Marketing (Zomato and Blinkit) between November 2020 and March 2023, where he led user acquisition, retention, and profitability strategies. He played a pivotal role in launching Blinkit and establishing it as a leading quick commerce brand in India, while also scaling Zomato’s presence through performance, brand, and CRM initiatives.
Before that, Pandey worked with OLX Group for over two years in multiple capacities, including Head of Brand, Strategy and Growth and Lead- Growth Marketing and Customer Lifecycle Management. During his earlier stint from June 2018 to October 2020, he led brand and performance marketing, launched large-scale TV and digital campaigns such as #TeriBhiHappyMeriBhiHappy and OLX Dekha Hai, and helped strengthen OLX’s market leadership in India.
Pandey’s career began with iCRM in Kuala Lumpur, where he worked as a Strategy Consultant from June 2014 to October 2016, followed by co-founding CodeRang – 360 Degree Digital Solutions, a digital marketing firm, where he worked from November 2016 to March 2018, helping e-commerce businesses across Asia design marketing automation systems and data-driven campaigns.
