Ogilvy Indonesia has elevated Kapil Arora to the role of Group Chief Executive Officer, a move that has further strengthened the network’s leadership in the Southeast Asian market.
Arora has announced the elevation through a LinkedIn update.
Prior to this elevation, Arora has been associated with Ogilvy Indonesia since January 2024, when he joined as Chief Operating Officer, a role he held until January 2026. Before moving to Indonesia, he served as Co-Chairman and CEO at 82point5 from August 2019 to January 2024, based in Mumbai. Earlier, Arora spent over six years at Ogilvy & Mather India as President – Ogilvy Group Companies, North, from February 2013 to August 2019.
His earlier leadership journey includes nearly a decade at Ogilvy and Mather India as President and Country Head – Team Vodafone, from 2004 to January 2013. Before that, he worked as a Business Consultant with BCCL between 2003 and 2004. Arora began his career in advertising with Ogilvy & Mather India as an Account Supervisor from September 2000 to January 2003, following an early stint as an Account Executive at Enterprise Nexus from May 1999 to September 2000.
