New Balance Appoints Janhvi Kapoor As First Indian Brand Ambassador

New Balance has announced actor Janhvi Kapoor as its first Indian brand ambassador, marking a formal step in the brand’s efforts to strengthen its presence in the country. The appointment has positioned Kapoor as the face of the global sportswear brand in India, a market New Balance has identified as a key growth region.

The brand has stated that the association has focused on aligning performance-led sportswear with contemporary fashion and fitness culture in India. It has aimed to connect with younger consumers by leveraging Kapoor’s visibility across film, fashion and popular culture.

New Balance has highlighted India as a priority market within its Middle East, Africa and India (MEAI) region, and the partnership has been positioned as part of a broader strategy to deepen consumer engagement and brand relevance in the country.

Speaking about the relationship Janhvi Kapoor said, “I’ve always admired New Balance for its dedication to innovation and celebrating individuality.
