Neeraj Jha has started as Head of Sports Business – India and South Asia at Warner Bros. Discovery. In this role, he has been responsible for overseeing the company’s sports business operations across the region, including content strategy, partnerships, programming, and commercial growth for its sports portfolio.
Jha has shared the update about his new role on LinkedIn, stating that he is starting as Head of Sports Business (Warner Bros. Discovery) – India & South Asia at Warner Bros. Discovery.
Prior to this appointment, Jha has been associated with Warner Bros. Discovery for more than six years. He has been serving as Director (Content, Programming & Acquisition) from March 2024 to March 2026 in Gurugram. Before that, he worked as Head of Content and Acquisition (Sports) from November 2019 to March 2024. During the same period, he has also held the position of Head of Content, Programming and Production, On-Air Promo, Partnerships and Acquisition at Eurosport under Discovery Inc.
Alongside his corporate roles, Jha has also co-founded SEEtalks, an inspirational live talk platform, where he has worked from January 2016 to June 2020. Between January 2018 and October 2019, he has also worked in a freelance capacity, contributing to multiple projects in the media and entertainment space.
Earlier in his career, he has spent over 12 years at TEN Sports Network as AVP – Production from October 2005 to January 2018, managing live and non-live production operations, programming initiatives and content localisation, including WWE programming. Before that, he has worked as Correspondent/Producer at Zee News from June 2004 to August 2005 in Noida, and as Producer & Programme Executive at E-TV Network from 2002 to 2004. He began his career as an Assistant Producer at IMG in New Delhi from January 2001 to December 2001.
