Meta is making quite a lot of changes in their apps to attract audiences of all age groups. Led by Mark Zuckerberg, the social media giant is now planning to attract younger users with generative AI chatbots having unique personalities as reported by WSJ.
According to online sources, the company can roll out these AI bots at the upcoming Meta Connect conference. These AI chatbots are aimed at improving user engagement and assisting young users in various tasks like coding. Leveraging generative AI, Meta has created chatbots with multiple personalities and features so that these can be used to enhance productivity.
Seeing how the interests of Gen Z are evolving, Meta is trying to make sure that the popularity of their platforms remains steady. Alessandro Paluzzi, a well-known developer who keeps an eye on the new features of apps, also hinted at something similar for Instagram in June.
For those who don’t know, Meta is also looking to compete with AI models like ChatGPT with its LLaMA. It will be interesting to see how users respond to all these AI-based features and tools. In the whole race, one thing is sure: tech companies are here to adopt AI in multiple ways so that they create one-stop solutions for people of all ages, interests, and needs.
