Mercedes to Hyundai, 07 Upcoming Car Launches In India in 2022

The automobile industry has grown tremendously in the past couple of years. While the sales might have been affected due to the all-time increase in fuel prices and unavailability of parts, the numbers tend to grow with time.

From Mercedes to Hyundai, here are some of the upcoming launches of the year that are anticipated in the Indian market.

Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series

The all-new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series is all set to be launched in June 2022. The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series marks the return of an iconic name to the world of super sports cars.

Price: Rs 4.00 Crore (ex-showroom)

Mean Metal Motors Azani

Mean Metal Motors Azani is yet to be unveiled and is said to be launched by the first quarter of 2023.

Mean Metal Motors is said to have a fully electric drivetrain with the electric motor(s) delivering a maximum of 986bhp, with an estimated 0-100kmph in under 2.0 seconds and a top speed of 350kmph.

Price: Rs 88.00 – 90.00 Lakh (ex-showroom)

Kia EV6

The Kia EV6 is expected to be launched in India in July 2022. The car is expected to be powered by a 77.4kWh battery pack sending power to all four wheels while producing 321bhp and 605Nm of torque, or a 58kWh battery pack sending power to the rear wheels while producing 170bhp and 350Nm of torque.

Price: Rs 65.00 – 70.00 Lakh (ex-showroom)

Mahindra Scorpio-N

The new Mahindra Scorpio-N is expected to be launched by the end of June 2022. The new Scorpio-N is expected to be equipped with a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a new flat-bottom steering wheel, front-facing third-row seats, roof-mounted speakers, semi-digital instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, and more.

Price: Rs 14.00 – 20.00 Lakh (ex-showroom)

Hyundai Creta Facelift

Hyundai unveiled the facelifted Creta last year in the Indonesian market with a host of changes in its exterior and interior. The car is said to be launched in India this year.

Price: Rs 11.00 – 18.00 Lakh (ex-showroom)

Citroen C3

The Citroen C3 will be launched in India by June 2022. the car will feature the signature split headlamp design divided by a two-slat chrome grille and a secondary hexagonal-shaped grille.

Price: Rs 8.00 – 12.00 Lakh (ex-showroom)

Volkswagen Virtus

Volkswagen Virtus is all set to be launched later this month. The car will be available in three variants including 1.0 MT, 1.0 AT, and 1.5 DSG

Price: Rs 9.00 – 12.00 Lakh (ex-showroom)
