Indians are ruling the Tech world with uppermost positions in the most popular companies. There are many such examples that prove that no one can handle tech companies like us and it something we have in blood. Another proud moment came for Indians when Samsung Research Division recently announced Gujarat-born Pranav Mistry as the president and CEO of STAR Labs (Samsung Technology And Advanced Research), which is acquired by the South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics.

Born on May 14th, 1981, in Palanpur, Gujarat, Pranav Mistry gained popularity for developing ‘Sixth Sense’ gesture-controlled wearable computer after which he joined Samsung in 2012, as the Director of Research. A lot of people don’t know that he is one of the masterminds behind creating Samsung’s first Galaxy Gear smartwatch. He was awarded the Young Global Leader in 2013. In 2017, became the Vice President at Samsung Electronics. His work history includes names like Microsoft, Google, NASA among others.
It is a proud moment for all of us as Pranav Mistry has joined the group of Indians leading global tech companies. Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella, Shantanu Narayen are some names in this list.
