Liminal Custody has appointed Chakravarthi Muppalla as its Chief Product Officer (CPO). In this role, he has been responsible for steering the company’s product strategy and innovation roadmap, focusing on building secure, scalable, and compliant solutions for digital asset custody.
Muppalla has brought over a decade of global experience across cloud, SaaS, AI, and blockchain product development. He has previously worked with major technology firms such as Microsoft, Salesforce, and Coinbase, and most recently served at Chorus One, where he has led the creation of OPUS, a multi-chain staking and restaking platform. His experience at the intersection of enterprise technology and decentralized finance has positioned him to advance Liminal Custody’s mission of developing trust-first, regulated infrastructure for institutions.
With his appointment, Liminal Custody has aimed to deepen its focus on institutional-grade innovation, product modularity, and interoperability, enabling enterprises, fintechs, and exchanges to securely navigate the evolving digital finance ecosystem.
Mahin Gupta, Founder of Liminal Custody, said, “Chakravarthi’s appointment marks an important step in Liminal’s evolution as we expand our product suite and scale across new markets. His experience across Web2 and Web3 ecosystems brings a rare blend of technical depth and user-centric thinking that aligns perfectly with our vision of simplifying digital asset management for enterprises globally.”
Commenting on his appointment, Chakravarthi Muppalla said, “Digital asset infrastructure today is at the same inflection point that cloud computing was a decade ago. Institutions want reliability, compliance, and performance before they can truly scale. At Liminal, I’m excited to build products that bridge that gap, making digital asset custody as seamless and trusted as any traditional financial system.”
