After founding the quick commerce company- Dunzo in 2014 with his fellow cofounders- Mukund Jha, Dalvir Suri and Ankur Agarwal, Kabeer Biswas has now decided to exit the Reliance-backed venture.
He was the last co-founder who was associated with the quick commerce company which is currently facing mounting challenges in an increasingly competitive sector and has been scaling down operations to maintain its position in the market amid fierce competition from players like Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit and BigBasket.
Most recently, Reliance Retail had also written off its $200 million investment in Dunzo.
That being said, Biswas is now slated to make a switch and join Walmart-backed e-commerce major- Flipkart’s Minutes as Head of Operations.
In the proposed role, he will be working closely with Hemant Badri, Flipkart’s SVP, who has been overseeing the quick commerce division since 2022 and has played an instrumental role in scaling the rapid delivery market.
