Good news for Salman Khan fans, our Bhaijaan has again secured the first position on the Forbes India Celebrity 100 List. The top 3 names on this list have remained same with Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Virat Kohli. It was expected that because of the fact that Tubelight didn’t do well at the box office, Salman Khan will drop to the second or third position. But, thanks to endorsements of several consumer-facing brands he has earned a massive income of Rs. 232.83 crore for the year 2017.
Shah Rukh Khan, with an annual income of Rs. 170.5 crore, has retained his position at No 2. The newly married Indian captain Virat Kohli is in the third position with Rs. 100.72 crore. Although the top 3 has been able to retain their positions they have seen a decrease of almost 20 percent in their cumulative earnings as compared to last year.
Badminton player PV Sindhu has been the top gainer in terms of percentage as she got many brand endorsements after the popular silver medal in Rio Olympics. Her income 57.25 crores increased 17 times as compared to last year. Below are the top 10 celebrities on the list.
