Kohler has appointed Jacob Kuriakose As Head of Marketing - South Asia. Before this, he was associated with Whirlpool for nearly two decades. His last role at the home appliances brand was as Senior Director- Marketing and Head- D2C Business.

Kohler Onboards Jacob Kuriakose As Head of Marketing - South Asia

Kohler has appointed Jacob Kuriakose as their new Head of Marketing for South Asia, the company announced.

Before this, he was associated with Whirlpool for a period of close to 19 years, of which he spent the last four years serving as the company’s Senior Director- Marketing and Head – D2C Business.

He joined the home appliances brand as a Management Trainee in 2005 and moved up the ladder over time.
Prior to being appointed as Whirlpool’s Senior Director – Marketing and Head – D2C Business in April 2020, he served as the company’s Business Head of the Refrigerators category from April 2018 to March 2020.

He was the Business Head of the Laundry category for over two years from January 2016 to March 2018; from April 2013 to January 2016, he was General Manager – Marketing, Refrigeration category. From September 2012 to April 2013, he was the Senior Manager – Marketing, AC and Microwaves category.

Earlier, he worked as the Senior Manager – Asia Pacific Product Marketing for over four years from July 2008 till August 2012.

Before that, he was the Category Manager – Refrigerators from June 2007 to June 2008 and from March 2006 to May 2007, he served as the Assistant Category Manager – Refrigerators.

Announcing his departure from the home appliances brand after an association of close to two decades, Kuriakose, mentioned, “After 19 incredible years at Whirlpool, the time has come for me to embark on a new journey. From my very first day as a fresh-faced management trainee to my very last, Whirlpool has been a place of growth, learning, and unforgettable experiences. I am immensely grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to develop, both professionally and personally, amidst inspiring colleagues and mentors.”
