KidZania India Partners With BIG FM To Launch Radio Broadcasting Experience For Children

KidZania India has partnered with BIG FM to launch the BIG FM Radio Station at its centres in India. The new role-play activity has allowed children to experience radio broadcasting by taking on the role of radio jockeys and learning the basics of presenting content in a simulated studio environment.

The activity has introduced children to various aspects of radio broadcasting, including voice presentation, articulation, audience engagement and communication skills. Through guided participation, children have gained exposure to media and broadcasting in an interactive learning format.

The partnership has expanded KidZania India’s portfolio of profession-based role-play experiences while enabling BIG FM to engage with children through an experiential platform focused on storytelling and communication.

The activity has also been designed to support the development of verbal communication, confidence and creative expression among young participants through practical role-play exercises.

Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, Chief Business Officer, KidZania India, said: “At KidZania, we are constantly looking for ways to bring the real world closer to children through immersive role-play experiences. The BIG FM Radio Station does exactly that by introducing children to the world of broadcasting, content creation and communication in a way that is both engaging and meaningful.

Communication is one of the most important life skills a child can develop, and the ability to express ideas, tell stories and connect with others builds confidence that extends far beyond the studio. BIG FM has long been a brand synonymous with storytelling, conversations and connecting with audiences, making them an ideal partner to bring this experience to life. Together, we hope to inspire children to express themselves confidently, think creatively and discover the power of their own voice, while experiencing the excitement of radio and broadcasting in an authentic and enjoyable way.”
