Kartik Sharma Takes Charge As CEO, Amardeep Singh As COO, Shashi Sinha As Strategic Advisor At Omnicom Media India

Omnicom Media has announced its India leadership line-up, with Kartik Sharma taking charge as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Amardeep Singh as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Shashi Sinha as Strategic Advisor for India.

The development has been confirmed to Marketing Mind by sources close to the matter.

The appointments have formed part of the wider regional restructuring that has brought together the media operations of Omnicom Media Group (OMG) and IPG’s Mediabrands under the unified Omnicom Media banner across APAC. The India structure has been positioned within this consolidated framework to build a more integrated, capability-driven and client-focused media organisation.

At the APAC level, Omnicom Media has also put in place an expanded leadership roster across key markets including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The network’s Oceania markets have been aligned under a joint structure, while affiliate partners in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan have continued as part of the extended regional network.

The restructuring has been framed as a transformative consolidation aimed at simplifying overlapping operations, strengthening market presence and combining the capabilities, talent and client portfolios of both legacy networks to deliver a unified media offering across the region.
