JioStar Names Akash Vadera As Marketing Director For Tadka

The former Dream11 and Jio executive will spearhead marketing for Tadka, drawing on nearly a decade of experience across media, gaming and consumer brands.

JioStar has appointed Akash Vadera as Marketing Director for Tadka, strengthening the leadership team behind its short-form entertainment platform. He announced the new role via his LinkedIn.

Vadera joins JioStar from Dream11, where he served as Brand Marketing Manager and Social Media Lead from May 2025 to July 2026. In the role, he led brand and social media initiatives for the fantasy sports platform, driving audience engagement and brand visibility.

Prior to this, he was Content Lead at Sagarcasm from April 2023 to April 2025, overseeing content strategy and execution. He also spent three years at Jio, serving as Digital Marketing Manager from March 2020 to March 2023, where he led digital campaigns and consumer engagement initiatives across the company’s portfolio.

Earlier in his career, Vadera worked at Raymond Consumer Care as Trade Marketing Manager from May 2018 to February 2020, gaining experience in brand activation and consumer marketing.

With experience spanning digital marketing, content, social media and brand strategy, Vadera’s appointment comes as JioStar continues to strengthen Tadka’s positioning in India’s increasingly competitive digital entertainment landscape.
