Infinity Advertising has appointed Ministry of Minority Affairs’ Asad Jamal as its new Head- Media and Planning and ex-Hakuhodo Senior Creative Director Lav Dhruv as Head of Content.

Infinity Advertising Appoints Asad Jamal As Head- Media & Planning & Lav Dhruv As Head- Content

Infinity Advertising, an integrated MarCom agency has expanded its leadership team for Media and Content with the appointment of Ministry of Minority Affairs’ Asad Jamal as Head- Media and Planning as well as ex- Hakuhodo Senior Creative Director Lav Dhruv as its new Head- Content.

These strategic appointments are a part of the agency’s growth strategy and plans to bolster its
innovation in media and content creation, leading the positioning of the agency for sustained expansion and success.

Prior to joining Infinity Advertising in the capacity of Head- Media and Planning, Jamal was associated with the Ministry Of Minority Affairs as a Media Consultant for more than three years, starting March 2021. He was the 1st PA to Cabinet Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi at the Ministry Of Minority Affairs from January 2018 to May 2019.

Before that, he served the role of Vice President- Media at Graphic Ads from January 2015 to January 2018; AVP- Investment at VivaKi from January 2011 to December 2014 and Business Director at GroupM– Team LG (MEC) from March 2006 to December 2010.

In the past, he also worked with Starcom for over two years, starting January 2004 and FCB Ulka for a period of four years between January 2000 and December 2003.

Similarly, Dhruv, who has joined Infinity Advertising as Head of Content, prior to his new role worked as an Independent Creative Consultant for the past nine months.

From September 2021 to September 2023, he served the role of Senior Creative Director at Hakuhodo.

Prior to joining Hakuhodo, he was associated with Ogilvy for a period of over five years. He joined them as a Creative Director in November 2015 and then began his journey as an aspiring Author in January 2021.

From April 2012 to October 2015, he was the Associate Creative Director at DMAS Advertising and Communications; Group Head Copy at HS Ad India from February 2011 to March 2012; Creative Group Head at CNBC-TV18 from December 2007 to January 2011.

In the past, he also worked with Crayons Advertising, L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, Zee Media and TBWA\ Worldwide.

Commenting on the two appointments, Ajay Adlakha, Managing Director, Infinity Advertising said, “We are delighted to welcome Asad and Lav to the Infinity family. Similarly, Dhruv, Head- Content, Infinity Advertising, also said, “Excited to lead creative vision at Infinity. Through innovation and collaboration, we will craft compelling content, fuelling organizational growth and influence.”
