The world has witnessed some of the most historical events in the past few years. From fighting the pandemic to taking a step closer to space tourism, there has been so much happening all over.
India has had its fair share of events too. But the one thing that has taken over all the headlines is the rise in the price of petroleum. Though the petrol hike is not a new occurrence, the hike in the price of lemons has us all in a shock.
The lemon price touched Rs 20 per piece in Pune and ranges between Rs 10 to Rs 15 in most retail markets. Increased demand, limited harvest, damage to the crops because of the high temperature, hike in fuel prices, etc. are some of the many reasons that attribute to the skyrocketing price of lemon.
While people are struggling to come to terms with the unbelievable price all over the country, social media has taken it upon itself once again to make the topic much more fun to follow.
People have had many funny takes on the situation, however, it is the brands that have brought out the best content in these difficult times.
