| Published on September 26, 2019

Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani not only enjoys a wholesome fortune of US$50 billion but also the perks of spending lavishly that comes with it!

Here's How Ambani's Live By Their Name Of Being "Asia's The Richest Family"

Here’s how the Ambani’s spend their money-

1. A Billion Dollar Residence In Mumbai

What’s basic for most of us is luxury for this family! The Ambani’s residence Antilla is a crown jewel of their real estate holdings. The 27-storey skyscraper in Mumbai which costed around $1 billion to build features 600 full time staff, three helipads, a garden that spans three floors, swimming pools and gorgeous ballrooms. It is also said to be the second most expensive properties of the world.

2. They Are Fast & Furious

Mukesh Ambani has used his massive wealth over the years to amass a fleet of luxury cars. The cars in his collection include a Mercedes Maybach 660 Guard, BMW 760 Li, Bentley Continental Flying Spur and a Rolls-Royce Phantom. These luxury cars amongst others are bulletproof to keep the family safe during their travel.

3. Move Over Destination Weddings!

Celebrations which started with Isha Ambani’s wedding in 2018 continued even a year later as Akash Ambani decided to tie the knot.

Isha’s wedding to Anand Parimal costed a whopping $100 million including a private concert by Beyonce. As for Akash’s destination wedding in Switzerland, it apparently costed more than the latter with a mini concert by Maroon 5, Coldplay and the Chainsmokers.

4. They Like To Party Party!

The family is not just known for it’s lavish weddings but also known to host some of the best celebratory parties which includes their annual Diwali party and IPL parties.

5. Charity

Asia’s richest family is also one of the most charitable. Ambani reportedly gave over $60 million in 2018, with most of that going to education, healthcare and rural development. These donations are organised through the Reliance Foundation, Reliance Industries’ charitable arm which was founded in 2010.

6. And It’s A Six! Match Won

The Ambani’s love sport particularly cricket. In 2008, they bought the Mumbai Indians for $111.9 million, the largest sale of an IPL team at the time. They’ve rarely spared any expense in signing star players on expensive contracts and these contracts have paid off with titles in 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019.
