Harpic Power Plus Named The Top Brand For Week 40 Of 2022: BARC India

Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India is a Joint Industry Body founded by stakeholder bodies that represent Broadcasters, Advertisers, and Advertising and Media Agencies.

Built upon a robust and future-ready technology backbone, BARC India owns and manages a transparent, accurate, and inclusive TV audience measurement system.

With a panel size of 180,000 individuals, BARC India is also the largest measurement company of its kind in the world. The body has recently released the list of top advertisers, brands, and channels across genres for the 40th week of 2022 (1st October 2022 To Friday, 7th October 2022).

Top 10 Advertiser Group Of Week 40

Hindustan Unilever Ltd. continued its lead with an ad volume of 5315.75 (‘000) secs. Reckitt Benckiser Group took the second spot with an increase in ad volumes from 3724.65 (‘000 secs) to 4231.68 (‘000 secs).

With an ad volume of 1159.93 (‘000 secs), Godrej Group stood at the third spot. Coca-Cola India Ltd. took the fourth spot, moving one place down this year, with an ad volume of 1144.48 (‘000 secs) followed by Procter & Gamble making in the top 5 list with 1141.71 (‘000 secs) ad volume.

Cadburys India Ltd, Pepsi Food (G), TVS (G), TATA (G), and GlaxoSmithKline Group Of Company, were the remaining 5 advertisers on the list with ad volumes of 665.32 (‘000 secs), 589.6 (‘000 secs), 494.81 (‘000 secs), 481.99 (‘000 secs), and 418.27 (‘000 secs) respectively.

Top 10 Brands Of Week 40

Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean took the first spot this week with a 585.98 (‘000 secs) ad volume, followed by Lizol all in 1 which jumped 3 spots up and stood at the second place with an ad volume of 545.07 (‘000 secs).

Dettol Antiseptic Liquid slipped one spot down and stood at 3rd position with a drop in ad volumes from 640.65 (‘000 secs) to 438.11 (‘000 secs).

Coca-Cola stood at the 4th position with an ad volume of 266.79 (‘000 secs). Mortein Insta made it to the top 5 list of brands with an ad volume of 253.76 (‘000 secs).

Lalithaa Jewellery, Dettol Toilet Soaps, Colin, Harpic Bathroom Cleaner, and Dettol Disinfectant Spray took the remaining 5 spots in that order with an ad volume of 250.57 (‘000 secs), 250.27 (‘000 secs), 242.08 (‘000 secs), 241.99 (‘000 secs), and 231.58 (‘000 secs).
