Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) has unveiled an improved version of its popular Kala HIT mosquito spray, now equipped with Thunderbolt Technology.
The company claims that the new feature features a formulation with Metofluthrin (MFT), delivering four times faster mosquito elimination with reduced aerosol usage.
The upgraded product aims to provide more effective mosquito control in high-infestation areas, offering consumers a longer-lasting solution with enhanced value. Kala HIT’s new 400ml can is priced at Rs 180, and the 625ml can at Rs 250, both offering an introductory discount of nearly 20%. Additionally, the product’s packaging has been revamped and features a new fragrance.
To promote the product, the brand released a 20-second ad highlighting the difference between the old and new formulas. The ad demonstrates how, with the previous product, multiple sprays were needed to eliminate mosquitoes. However, with the new Kala HIT aerosol featuring Thunderbolt Technology, one spray is enough to get the job done.
