Go Spiritual Launches Digital Campaign To Counter Crime & Negative News Overload

Amid an overwhelming volume of crime reports, sensational headlines and negative news cycles across digital and traditional media, Go Spiritual has launched a digital campaign aimed at addressing the emotional and mental impact of prolonged exposure to such content. Titled “Fed Up with Crime, Negative & Bad News All Day? Discover Positive, Uplifting, Wellness & Spiritual Content on Go Spiritual News Magazine App”, the campaign highlights how negative media consumption can affect emotional balance and encourages audiences to explore alternative content focused on wellbeing and spirituality.

Research and real-world observations indicate that prolonged consumption of crime and negativity-focused news can contribute to anxiety, fear and emotional fatigue. Such exposure can add stress to daily life, affect personal relationships and influence behavioural patterns. In response, the campaign promotes a shift towards content that supports mental wellbeing. It features a no-voice-over promotional video using visuals, music and on-screen text to contrast the effects of negative news with calmer, reflective imagery.

The Go Spiritual News Magazine App, available on the Google Play Store, offers a mobile platform with a range of content centred on wellness and spirituality. The app includes guided yoga and meditation practices, articles on mindfulness and holistic health, features on Ayurveda and organic living, wellness content for senior citizens, travel guides to pilgrimage destinations, coverage of festivals, inspirational stories, interviews with spiritual leaders, feature articles, book recommendations, and content related to food traditions rooted in Indian culture. It also highlights spiritual events, gatherings and community initiatives.

Go Spiritual operates as a spiritual and wellness organisation working across areas such as mental health awareness, holistic wellbeing, spiritual tourism, media, organic living and social initiatives. Alongside the launch of the Go Spiritual News Magazine App, the organisation is also preparing to introduce Go Spiritual OTT, a streaming platform focused on positive and spiritually oriented content.

Go Spiritual functions as the spiritual and social initiative of the Approach Entertainment & Communications Group. The group operates across cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Gurugram, Goa, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Jalandhar, and works with stakeholders across entertainment, healthcare, finance, education and spiritual sectors.
