After being associated with Meesho as CXO- Monetisation for a period of two years, Harsh Choudhary has now joined Flipkart as Vice President- Customer Growth.
In his new role, he will be heading the e-commerce platform’s Customer Growth comprising both Customer acquisition and retention, via both on-platform (storefront merchandising, recommendations, incentives) and off-platform channels (CRM, Performance); running Events & Occasions; and managing Video Commerce.
Choudhary’s decision to calling it quits at Meesho comes at a time when the Internet commerce company has seen the departure of Meesho’s Utkrishta Kumar, CXO-Business; and Kirti Varun Avasarala, Chief Product Officer.
Prior to joining Meesho in March 2022, Chaudhary was associated with Disney+ Hotstar for a period of more than three years, a company which he had joined as Head- Partnerships, Strategy and Analytics for Hotstar Play (SVOD) in February 2019.
In January 2021, he assumed the role of VP and Head- Category, Partnerships, Strategy and Analytics for Hotstar India and was elevated to the role of SVP and CXO- Business and Strategy, a year later.
Before that, he also served as Myntra‘s Director- Category Management and Strategy from August 2016 to February 2019.
Chaudhary started his career with McKinsey & Company in April 2011 as an associate and then moved up the ladder to become the Engagement manager in April 2015.
