Flipkart has appointed Gunjan Bhartia as Senior Vice President, Business Finance, with responsibility for leading eKart Business Finance across all verticals. In this role, he has overseen financial planning, strengthened performance discipline, and supported strategic transformation as the company has continued to build its supply chain operations in India.
Bhartia has brought more than 28 years of finance leadership experience across Asia and the Middle East, with a focus on high-growth technology-led organisations. He has previously held senior leadership roles at GE and Coupang, where he has contributed to business scaling initiatives, led large transformation programmes, and managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios within listed and highly regulated environments. His experience has included working closely with investor, governance, and disclosure frameworks.
At Flipkart, Bhartia has been expected to work closely with leadership teams to enhance financial controls, support long-term planning, and strengthen capital discipline within eKart’s operations.
