Fever FM has expanded its footprint in Uttar Pradesh with the launch of its station on 93.7 FM in Moradabad, marking the city’s first private FM radio service. The move brings Moradabad into the network’s growing regional presence, making it the eighth city in the state to host a Fever FM station after Lucknow, Kanpur, Bareilly, Agra, Aligarh, Gorakhpur and Prayagraj.
The launch has been positioned as a significant development for the region’s media landscape. Divisional Commissioner Aunjaneya Kumar Singh described it as a long-awaited step, highlighting that the station would not only offer entertainment but also serve as a platform for awareness and regional storytelling. He noted that neighbouring districts such as Rampur, Sambhal, Bijnor and Amroha could benefit from greater cultural visibility through the station.
Mayor Vinod Agarwal called the launch a milestone for the city, pointing out that Moradabad, despite being a major export hub, had long lacked its own FM radio presence. He added that residents previously relied on signals from nearby cities like Ghaziabad, making this launch a significant local upgrade.
Senior Superintendent of Police Satpal Antil emphasised the role of radio beyond entertainment, expressing hope that the platform would actively contribute to public awareness and social messaging.
From the network’s perspective, Ramesh Menon, CEO of Fever Network, said the station aims to amplify Moradabad’s local voice while fostering stronger community connections through engaging and relatable content.
Fever FM 93.7 Moradabad will broadcast daily from 6 AM to midnight, featuring a mix of local conversations, music and entertainment. The programming lineup includes voices such as RJ Vaibhav, Amit Kumar, RJ Pankhuri and RJ Rahul Makin, catering to a wide spectrum of listeners across the region.
