According to the report, 43.4% of respondents said brand offers and rewards motivate their festive purchases, while 31% cited emotional value and tradition as their biggest reasons to buy. 13.9% pointed to peer pressure or social media inspiration, and 11.7% said convenience of online shopping guides their decisions.
Interestingly, 52.1% prefer a balance between big and local brands, and 35.5% exclusively support small businesses, while only 12.4% chose big brands exclusively. The festive buyer is no longer just a bargain hunter, they’re a meaning-seeker.
