Efficacy Worldwide has announced key leadership appointments to support its growth across India. Somnath Sarkarr joins as National Investment Director, Prajesh Dutta as National Director – Strategy and Innovation, and Raj Choudhary as Business Head for the South region.
With these strategic appointments, the agency aims to strengthen its leadership and support its multi-vertical approach across digital, influencer, performance, media, and experiential marketing.
As National Director Investments, Sarkarr would be managing an integrated portfolio of digital (programmatic, search, video) and traditional media investments, driving strategic media buying across platforms to deliver measurable business outcomes. He would also be overseeing cross-channel media investments, blending digital innovation with traditional scale, and lead negotiations and strategic partnerships to maximize value and buying power. He started his career with Madison World and over the last twenty-years has had stints with Vivaki Exchange, and Lodestar UM. His last stint was with Initiative where he spent nine years and his last role was as Vice President Investment.
With over two decades of experience, Dutta joins Efficacy Worldwide as National Director – Strategy and Innovation. In this role, he will be responsible for leading strategy, guiding teams, and optimizing P&L. He comes from Madison World and has previously worked with Wavemaker, m/Six, Maxus, and GroupM.
Choudhary brings with him over 13 years of experience in agencies like iCubesWire, with an expertise in content marketing, and branding and he joined as a Business Head – South. He was previously Regional Head at History TV18 in Bengaluru. Raj began his career at Zee Media and has held roles at Indian Express, Warner Media, Network18, Sony Pictures, and Network India.
