EBG Group has appointed actor Mrunal Thakur as the brand ambassador for its wellness-hospitality venture, Carlton Wellness. The association has marked a strategic move as the group has continued to scale its wellness portfolio and has targeted revenues of Rs180–250 crore by FY 2026–27.
The partnership has taken effect from FY 2025–26 and has involved Mrunal Thakur featuring across Carlton Wellness brand films, digital initiatives, experiential campaigns, and property launches, which have been planned to roll out in phases across India.
Carlton Wellness Group has been developed as an integrated wellness-hospitality platform spanning destination retreats, wellness resorts, city and hotel-based spas, and wellness-focused residential and vacation home projects. The platform has combined clinical and experiential wellness offerings such as Ayurveda, naturopathy, mindfulness, and hydrotherapy, while aligning global wellness practices with Indian lifestyles and a focus on preventive care and longevity.
EBG Group has moved forward with multiple Carlton Wellness spa formats that have been prepared for operations across select partner locations, including licensed spa projects within premium hospitality and real estate developments. In parallel, flagship retreat and resort projects have reached advanced stages of development and have been lined up for operations in Ahmedabad, Indore, and Manipal.
The company has also confirmed expansion across markets such as Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Lucknow, Bengaluru, and Manipal, strengthening its presence across metro and Tier-1 cities. Looking ahead to 2026, the expansion roadmap has included plans for 20–30 new wellness spas, 4–6 destination retreats, 2–3 boutique wellness resorts, and 1–2 luxury wellness residential or vacation home projects across states including Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and select NCR and metro hubs.
Backed by this pipeline, the EBG–Carlton platform has projected revenues of Rs80–120 crore in FY 2025–26, scaling up to Rs180–250 crore in FY 2026–27, driven by spa operations, memberships, retreat and resort bookings, licensing models, and wellness programs.
