Dish TV India has launched VZY, which it describes as India’s first integrated connected entertainment ecosystem aimed at bringing streaming platforms, live TV channels and premium pay-per-view content under a single interface.
The company said the launch comes amid growing fragmentation in content consumption, with consumers increasingly juggling multiple streaming apps, smart devices, subscriptions and billing cycles across households. VZY is designed to simplify entertainment discovery and viewing by offering a unified ecosystem accessible across mobile devices and Smart TVs.
The platform operates across two layers — the VZY Streaming Platform and the VZY Smart TV ecosystem. The streaming platform aggregates more than 29 streaming applications, live TV channels, creator-led programming and AVOD content into a single interface, while offering unified search and content discovery features intended to reduce “search fatigue” for viewers.
Dish TV also introduced VZY Smart TVs, a QLED 4K Smart TV lineup powered by the Google TV ecosystem with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support. The company said the televisions will come bundled with live TV access and integrated streaming applications.
The launch is being supported through a marketing campaign rolling out during the ongoing Indian Premier League season, focusing on the idea of reducing app-switching and simplifying entertainment access for consumers.
