Chandan Mendiratta, who has been associated with Zepto as Chief Brand Officer for the past one year, has now assumed the additional role of Chief Culture Officer at the quick commerce major.
This development comes in the aftermath of Martin Dinesh calling it quits as the CHRO of the Mumbai-based quick commerce platform.
In January 2024, Mendiratta had joined Zepto as its Chief Brand Officer after putting an end to his one-and-a-half years long stint of Chief Growth Officer at Classplus.
Before that, he served across a slew of roles at Zomato for a period of over four years between June 2018 and June 2022. He joined the food and restaurant aggregator platform as Head of Sales and Growth- Emerging Markets, Online Ordering in June 2018 and was elevated to the role of Head of Sales- Online Ordering in May 2019 and Head- Zomato Feeding India in February 2020. In May 2020, he assumed the role of Global Sales Head- Dining in May 2020 and then went on to become Head of Brand Marketing at Zomato in October 2020.
For a period of over two years, between May 2016 and June 2018, Mendiratta also served the role of Director- Advisor Network at GoFro.com wherein he was responsible for accelerating the growth of the Advisor Network and even launched the GoFro Travel Entrepreneur Program which accelerated the business through the advisor network and made it a scalable (and still profitable) solution for the current industry ecosystem.
In the past, he also worked with Futures First and Deloitte.
