Uber Advertising has announced the appointment of Bruna Piovesan as its new Global Head of Marketing. In her new role, she has been tasked with leading Uber Advertising’s global marketing strategy, strengthening its brand positioning, and driving the company’s advertising growth across markets. She has also been overseeing cross-functional teams responsible for brand, product marketing, design, and content partnerships.
Piovesan has shared this update on LinkedIn, where she has expressed her enthusiasm about taking on the global mandate at a transformative time for Uber’s advertising business.
Prior to this, Piovesan has built a wide-ranging career across major global organisations. She has been serving as a Chief Member at Chief since January 2025. Before joining Uber Advertising in her new role in December 2025, she has worked at X (formerly Twitter) for five years, most recently as Marketing Director from April 2024 to December 2025, where she has led advertising revenue-driving efforts across the Americas along with B2B brand, product marketing, design and content partnership marketing. Earlier at X, she served as Senior Manager, Global Marketing from January 2021 to May 2024, leading global programmes around brand metrics, ad revenue and major sporting events.
She has previously worked with Twitter in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she has held the role of Senior Marketing Manager, Global Business Brand from September 2018 to January 2021, and North America Marketing Manager: Tech & Telco from May 2017 to September 2018. Before her tenure at Twitter, she was Senior Client Strategist at The Linus Group from October 2015 to May 2017 and Marketing Strategy Consultant at Formalizar e-Signature from March 2015 to December 2015, where she has developed brand, digital and go-to-market strategies.
