Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, the founder of the Biopharmaceutical giant- Biocon, expressed her thoughts about the mohalla clinics. These clinics are local units dispensing primary healthcare started by Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi Government. Mazumdar wants the clinics replicated across the country.
Appreciating the efforts made by the Delhi government she said that she found it really impressive. She said that the clinic was clean and efficient, and this model needs to be replicated in the country.
Shaw shared her experience on Twitter and after paying a visit to the mohalla clinics in the Saket Assembly constituency in south Delhi, she went on to meet the CM himself.

Shaw further applauded the mohalla clinic for its planning as it makes sure that people are able to come there, get their vitals checked, consult with doctors, get their blood samples taken and that the reports are provided within 24 hours.
Arvind Kejriwal was soon to revert on the tweet and thanked Shaw for her kind words. He tweeted,
Thank u Kiran ji. All the development in Delhi in the last five years has been possible due to active support and participation of our people. Do visit our schools and let us know how we can improve them further.
