Flipkart’s Bhasker Shrestha Joins Myntra As Deputy Director- Brand Marketing

Before joining Myntra as Deputy Director- Brand Marketing, Bhaskar Shrestha was associated with Flipkart as Senior Manager- Marketing for more than three-and-a-half years. He joined the e-commerce major in April 2019.

Flipkart’s Bhasker Shrestha Joins Myntra As Deputy Director- Brand Marketing

Myntra, an Indian fashion e-commerce company owned by Flipkart, has appointed Bhasker Shrestha as its new Deputy Director- Brand Marketing.

Announcing the development on LinkedIn, he mentioned, “After a rewarding 5+ years with Flipkart, I am delighted to embark on a new adventure with Myntra as Deputy Director – Brand Marketing. This transition marks an exciting new chapter, and I am grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve received along the way.”

He added, “As I step into this new role, I look forward to the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead with great anticipation. Here’s to new beginnings!”

Prior to joining Myntra, he was associated with the group company- Flipkart for more than five years, starting April 2019. He joined the ecommerce major as Manager- Brand Marketing and was promoted as Senior Manager- Brand Marketing in January 2021.

After serving the same role for more than two years, he was given the additional responsibility of heading the Go-To-Market Strategy for ‘The Big Billion Days’ as well as spearheading brand marketing of the company to boost the share of wallet from existing shoppers and position Flipkart as the ultimate shopping destination, driving customer consideration, in July 2023.

Before Flipkart, Shrestha was associated with TVS Motor Company as Deputy Media Manager for about two years, between April 2017 and March 2019. During this time, he was responsible for overseeing the brand’s Account Management, Media Strategy, Campaign Management, Mapping Need States to Consumer Life, strategising the brand’s rural penetration and heading the Kargil Vijay Divas Celebration Project for Star City.

From May 2014 to April 2017, he worked with GroupM as Business Manager and was responsible for developing and executing 360 Degree Communication Planning and promotion campaigns with cost effective media for TGBL, recommending plans basis Competitive Analysis of the market across the sector using strategic frameworks, modelling, surrogate and competition benchmarking with the help of various analytical tools and more.

Shrestha began his career as Technical Associate at Tech Mahindra in December 2010.
