If you live in a metropolitan city, you must have used Google Maps to reach a location. There is a big chance that Google Maps made you spend more time and distance for a location which was not that far. This happens so many times in Goa especially when you want to visit the popular Baga beach.
This is because the road leading to the North Goa beach is confusing for most of the first-timers. Even if they take the help of Google Maps, it is not always spot on.
To solve this and make the trip of Goa easy and simple, people in Goa have put up a banner, warning about the direction. The banner smartly trolls Google Maps and reads “You Are Fooled By Google Maps”.
We came to know this through a tweet by Sumanth Raj Urs, in which one can clearly see a banner saying that it is not the way leading to the Baga beach. It also tells that you have been misled by Google Maps! Therefore, you need to turn back and take a left turn to reach the location.
Hahaha. @googlemaps what’s the route to Baga beach? Sumanth wrote in caption.

Need such more banners
Absolutely need such banners. When it comes to route by walk it takes ppl through some crazy roads 😂
In Jodhpur, we wanted to walk on a downhill path but the route suggested was from the roof of a house to the road below and we were just shocked 😂🤣

Google Maps should work on such things because sometimes users are in hurry and they lose the valuable time which this app is known to save.
