Ayush Kapoor has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer at Theobroma Foods, where he has taken charge of leading the company’s overall marketing strategy, brand building, growth initiatives and digital-first expansion across channels.
Kapoor has shared this development through a LinkedIn update, where he has announced that he has started a new position as Chief Marketing Officer at Theobroma Foods.
Prior to this appointment, Kapoor has served as Chief Marketing Officer and Digital Business Head at Bombay Shirt Company from July 2024 to January 2026. Before that, he worked as Brand and Marketing Leader at xto10x from May 2023 to July 2024.
Kapoor has also spent over a decade at Unilever, where he has held multiple leadership roles across marketing and sales. Most recently, he has worked as Global Brand Director from April 2022 to May 2023, leading Lux across South Asia, Africa and Latin America. Prior to that, he has served as Marketing Manager for Lifebuoy and V Wash, Skin Cleansing at Hindustan Unilever Limited from June 2019 to April 2022. Earlier, he was Marketing Manager for Naturals brands including Hamam, Rexona and Moti from December 2018 to May 2019, followed by a stint as Senior Brand Manager for Cornetto and Snacking, Ice Creams from October 2016 to November 2018.
His early career at Unilever has included roles as Area Sales and Customer Manager for Ice Creams from June 2013 to November 2016. Alongside his corporate roles, Kapoor has also been associated with Reap Benefit as an Advisory Board Member between January 2021 and May 2023, contributing to communication strategy, partnerships and impact-led initiatives.
