Ashneer Grover, Co-founder of BharatPe, along with Chandigarh-based entrepreneur Aseem Ghavri, has introduced a new fintech app ZeroPe, focused on simplifying medical bill payments.
As per the info provided on the Google Play Store regarding the app, ZeroPe, is developed by Delhi-based Third Unicorn, a company established by Grover and Ghavri after Grover left BharatPe.
ZeroPe’s primary objective is to provide hassle-free financing options for medical needs, offering loans of up to Rs 5 lakh. The app has collaborated with Delhi-based non-banking financial corporation (NBFC), Mukut Finvest, which will serve as its lending partner.
The fintech company also aids customers in tracking their upcoming EMIs and payments. Obtaining a medical loan through its user-friendly interface is straightforward. Initially, users must complete the KYC process to establish their pre-approved loan limit, requiring documents such as their phone number, Aadhaar card number, and PAN.
Once the KYC is finalised, users select the healthcare facility where ZeroPe’s loan services are available. They can then input the desired loan amount and arrange EMIs to suit their preferences. Following this, the company approves the loan amount on the user’s behalf to the chosen hospital.
Following Grover’s departure from BharatPe, he along with his wife Madhuri Jain Grover, initiated Third Unicorn in collaboration with Ghavri. Third Unicorn’s most recent venture, unveiled in 2023, was the fantasy gaming platform named ‘CrickPe’.
Previously, Ghavri also co-founded BlockTech Brew back in August 2022. Apart from that, is the CEO at Code Brew Labs.
