Leander Paes’ Flying Man Ventures has onboarded Apurva Sircar as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In this role, he will drive the various businesses that the company has planned to venture into.
He took to LinkedIn and wrote, “Through sport, sports education, health and wellness, corporate collaborations, entertainment, and other avenues, we aim to create a lasting and deep impact in making the world around us a better place.”

Previously, he was associated with Bandhan Bank for seven years. He joined the bank in November 2017 as Vice President (VP), Head- Corporate Branding and Communications. Subsequently, he was elevated to VP, Head of Marketing in July 2020. Finally, he served as Senior Vice President (SVP), Heading of Marketing from October 2021 to November 2024.
Before joining Bandhan Bank, he served in different positions at Ageas Federal Life Insurance (AFLI). He started his journey with the company in May 2013 as Assistant Vice President, Head- Brand, Insights, Corporate Communications, and Product. After this, he was Deputy Vice President, Head- Brand, Insights, Corporate Communications, and Digital Marketing for a year. Later, he served as VP, Head- Brand, Insights, Corporate Communications, and Digital Marketing from April 2017 to November 2017.

Earlier, he was associated with Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Company for nearly four years. He joined the company in July 2009 as Chief Manager- Product Marketing and Third Party Distribution Marketing and was responsible for driving brand awareness and consideration. Following this, he was Head- Channel Marketing from October 2012 to May 2013, and one of his projects was to drive women to work as insurance advisors (agents).
From February 2008 to July 2009 he was Brand Manager at Kotak Mahindra Bank. In this role, he conceptualised and executed ground events, tracking consumer choice and preference, among other things.
In the past, Sircar was also associated with Heinz India and Blow Past Industries in different roles.
