Anand Mahindra’s Hilarious Tweets About His Is ‘Annoyance’ With Webinars Goes Viral On Twitter

Anand Mahindra has again made news with his witty tweets and overall social media presence. The industrialist who is very popular not just for his success but for his media interactions has taken to Twitter to address his ‘annoyance’ with the word ‘Webinar’.

The world has been locked up indoors for some time now which has made business all digital. People have been working from their homes and having to attend ‘webinars’ has become a mundane task of day-to-day lives. While as common people do have their fair share of dislike ness for the task, having one of the leading industrialists of the world to join in the choir is just the relief we need.

If I get one more invitation to a ‘webinar’ I might have a serious meltdown. Is it possible to petition for banishing this word from the dictionary even though it was a relatively recent entrant?? pic.twitter.com/2iBQtqoUa6

A few days ago, Mahindra had tweeted how he is annoyed with the word ‘webinar’ and was up to suggestions for changing the word itself. His tweet instantly went viral and many people tweeted with hilarious replies.

To alleviate my annoyance at the word ‘webinar’ my family suggested more customised labels… a webinar organised by a gentleman from Chennai would be a ‘Webinarayan’. A webinar by a guru would be a ‘Swaminar’. More ideas are welcome..😊 https://t.co/Rybt17mscA

The tweet went so viral that even Ritesh Deshmukh & Harsh Goenka couldn’t stop themselves from giving in their input.

Many netizens had their witty replies and some of them were creative yet funny.

Even Ritesh Deshmukh and Harsh Goenka replied to this.

A person who refuses to attend a webinar is called ‘ek Chatur naar’

Or ‘Webafah’

— Riteish Deshmukh (@Riteishd) June 3, 2020

Height of a webinar – QutubMinar
A fitness webinar – AkshayKumar
A Videshi webinar – Foreigner
A Bengali webinar – Amar-Amar
A Southern food webinar – Sambar
Current financial webinar – Hahakar
An Indian Army webinar – Shaandaar

Numerous friends shared this meme with me after reading about my frustration with ‘webinars.’ Seems like a new medical condition called a Webinarcoma. 😊 pic.twitter.com/0p1SIUXHZl

In the end, we could all relate to the pain and frustration that has lead to this hilarious thread about a mundane task. What are your thoughts about webinars? Do let us know.
