Rashii Prabhakar has joined Amazon Music as Content Lead India. In this role, she has been responsible for leading the platform’s content strategy in India, overseeing music programming, partnerships and initiatives aimed at strengthening Amazon Music’s presence in the market.
Prabhakar has shared the update about her new role on LinkedIn, announcing that she has started a new position as Content Lead India at Amazon Music.
Prior to this, Prabhakar has been working as a Sales Marketing Consultant (Self-employed) from January 2024 to January 2026. Earlier, she served as Vice President at INNOCEAN India from October 2022 to December 2023. Before that, she worked as Director at Pixis between February 2022 and September 2022.
Prabhakar has also held the role of Director at Triller from April 2021 to January 2022. Prior to that, she has been associated with Saregama India as part of the revenue team from May 2020 to March 2021.
Between September 2016 and May 2020, she has worked with Viacom18 Media as National Head – Solutions and Sponsorships, where she has led brand partnerships and sponsorship strategies for the network’s live events and integrated solutions business. Before that, she has headed sales for branded projects at Only Much Louder (OML) from September 2015 to August 2016.
Her earlier stint at Viacom18 Media from June 2012 to August 2015 as Region Head – Brand Solutions for MTV and Pepsi MTV Indies has involved managing key client relationships and integrated marketing solutions while working on properties such as Coke Studio, MTV Unplugged, Roadies and Dewarists.
Earlier in her career, Prabhakar has worked as Account Manager at The Walt Disney Company from February 2007 to March 2012. She has also served as an Executive at STAR India between August 2005 and January 2007, and as a Response Executive at The Times of India, Lucknow from 2003 to 2004.
