Air India has appointed Varun Goswami as AVP Head of Creative and Content.
Before this, he served as Creative Strategist at Meta (formerly Facebook) from November 2019 till his move.
Previously, he was Creative Head- India and South Asia at Uber from June 2019 to November 2019. In this role, he was driving the creation of Integrated Marketing Campaigns, Digital Marketing Campaigns, CRM, and Performance Marketing Communications. In addition, he was leading the conceptualisation and execution of both large-scale and small-scale brand expressions across both Ride and Eats businesses.
Earlier, he was associated with Grey Group as Executive Creative Director from October 2015 to June 2019. In this position, he steered the integrated creative mandate at GREY Group New Delhi.
From January 2014 to October 2015, he served as Senior Creative Director at Cheil Worldwide and was in charge of marketing campaigns for Samsung’s mobile phones and handheld devices portfolio.
Prior to this, he was Unit Creative Director at Lowe Lintas for nearly a year. From June 2012 to July 2013, he was associated with J. Walter Thompson/Contract Advertising as Creative Director. Before this, he was associated with DDB as Associate Creative Director for over a year.
Previously, between September 2008 and November 2010, Goswami served as Associate Creative Director at BBDO India. In the past, he was associated with Dentsu, Contract India, and more in different positions.
