Adityan Kayalakal has stepped down as Vice President, Marketing at Jupiter Money, where he joined in May 2025. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing marketing strategy, brand positioning, and consumer engagement initiatives for the fintech platform.
He announced this move via a LinkedIn post.
Prior to Jupiter Money, Kayalakal was part of the founding team at Veera, serving as Head – Marketing & GTM from September 2023 to May 2025, and as SVP – Brand & GTM from May 2023 to September 2023. He led the launch and growth of the rewards-focused mobile browser, scaling it to 4 million users within the first year, and expanded to over 100 markets. Kayalakal designed GTM strategies, rewards mechanisms, led brand partnerships, and directed outward communications for the evolving product suite.
Kayalakal also served as Head – Global Digital Strategy, Platforms & Social Media at BYJU’S from January 2022 to May 2023, overseeing digital brand platforms, strategic initiatives, and partnerships. He led campaigns including BYJU’S x FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Education for All, Women’s Day, Kerala Blasters ISL Anthem, and the Indian Men’s and Women’s Cricket World Cup campaigns, reaching hundreds of millions of viewers.
He was Head – Content and Lead – Digital & Distribution for NBA India from September 2019 to January 2022, managing content strategy, digital licensing, and distribution partnerships across TV, digital, and gaming platforms in South Asia. Key projects included the NBA India Weekly Show, Hoop Nation, and local NBA highlights programs, alongside partnerships with Disney India, DD Sports, Viacom18, and Jio.
Earlier, Kayalakal held senior leadership roles at Publicis Emil as Country Head – India & Sub-Continent from February 2018 to September 2019, Publicis Groupe as Senior Vice President from March 2015 to September 2019, and Digitas India as Head – Key Accounts & Collaborations from January 2017 to May 2018.
His experience also includes senior roles at BBH India, Rediffusion Brand Solutions, The 120 Media Collective, Bates CHI & Partners and Wannabe Films, where he contributed to campaigns for Tata Nano, SugarFree, Kingfisher Airlines, Virgin Mobile, Skoda, ICICI, Budweiser, and ICICI Lombard, spanning brand launches, digital and traditional media campaigns, and strategic communications.
