Channel Factory Appoints DDB Mudra Group’s Chirag Bhatia As MD

After being associated with DDB Mudra Group for over four years, Chirag Bhatia has now joined Channel Factory in the capacity of Managing Director- India. In his new role, he will be leading the market penetration for the global technology and data platform which specializes in video ad placement on social platforms.

Channel Factory Appoints DDB Mudra Group’s Chirag Bhatia As MD

Channel Factory, a global technology and data platform specializing in video ad placement on social platforms, has onboarded DDB Mudra Group’s Chirag Bhatia as its Managing Director- India.

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the company’s market penetration in the country as part of Channel Factory’s larger expansion strategy and help in establishing a robust on-ground force dedicated to Product and Engineering, underlining the company’s commitment to cater to the specific needs of brands in the region.

Currently, Channel Factory currently operates in over 30 countries across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, Australia, and Latin America, with offices in the USA and a growing presence worldwide.

That being said, Channel Factory’s proprietary platform, powered by advanced AI technology and access to the YouTube API under the Official YouTube Measurement Program partnership, offers capabilities like ability to scan 100% of monetizable videos on the platform and cover more than 90 trillion views in 49 languages whilst ensuring that advertisers run campaigns against content aligned with their brand values, driving superior business outcomes.

Prior to joining Channel Factory, Bhatia was associated with DDB Mudra Group for a period of over four years, of which he spent the last one year serving as the agency’s EVP and Business Head- Digital. He had joined them in March 2020 as Senior Partner and National Head of Account Management- Digital and was elevated to the role of SVP- Digital in June 2021.

Before that, he served as the Co-Founder of Value Heal from May 2019 to February 2020; Agency Partner at Meta from April 2016 to April 2019; Lead Partner Sales- Digital Marketing (South Asia) at Adobe from June 2015 to July 2016 and Director- Adtech Sales and Solutions at Ibibo Group’s Ibibo Ads from July 2014 to June 2015.

In the past, he was also associated with Yahoo, BCCL, Reliance Petro Marketing and Wipro.
