Infectious Advertising Launches Epidemik Content; Gets Shabbir Motiwala To Lead

One of India’s leading independent ad agencies which completed eleven years of existence earlier this month, Infectious Advertising, has launched its content arm- Epidemik Content.

To spearhead the same, the Nisha Singhania and Ramanuj Shastri-led ad agency has roped in veteran Industry Producer, Shabbir Motiwala, as Head.

Motiwala had joined Infectious Advertising as Head of Production, last year, and was elevated to the role of Head of Epidemik this month.

Prior to that, he worked as an Independent Producer and won the Cannes Lions Grand Prix in 2022 for the Killer Pack campaign.

Before that, he was associated with Lemon Yellow Sun Films for close to a decade’s time as Executive Producer from December 2012 to September 2022.

From March 2010 to August 2011, he was the Head of Production at BBH; Producer- Director at Trinity films from March 2005 to March 2010 and Agency Producer at Ambience Publicis from March 2000 to March 2005.

He started his career as Assistant Director at UTV and in April 1993 and was associated with them till March 2000.

Commenting on the development, Shabbir Motiwala, Head of Epidemik Content, said, “My challenge is to make Epidemik Content the ‘talk of the town’ with best-in-class production and innovative storytelling.
