Maruti Suzuki has undergone a reshuffle in its leadership, with Partho Banerjee taking over as the new Head of Marketing and Sales, replacing Shashank Srivastava.
Banerjee was previously the Head-Service at Maruti Suzuki.
The company said in a regulatory filing that Srivastava has now been appointed as a Member of the Executive Committee. The changes in the Senior Management Personnel will take effect from April 1, 2024.
Banerjee has been with Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) for the past 34 years. He has worked across various verticals in MSIL including Sales, Marketing and Production Engineering.
As a part of change in leadership, Ram Suresh Akella has been designated as the Head of Service. Akella is presently Executive Officer in Marketing Vertical. He has been with MSIL for over 31 years. He has worked in various areas such as Sales and Network Head at Arena channel, Commercial Business head of South region.
Meanwhile, various other roles within the company have also shifted. This includes positions like Head of Engineering, Head of Product Planning, HR, and IT.
